Fare sale announced by AirTran Airways

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE: AAI), has announced that it has launched a sale with fares starting from USD49.

The airline said that the fares are available for purchase through to 20 March 2008 and are good for travel through to 4 November 2008.

Peak fares are valid for travel on Monday, Thursday and Friday, whilst off-peak fares are valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Prices included in the sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or an overnight stay, the carrier said.
The fares are available for purchase at http://www.airtran.com or via AirTran Airways' reservations system.
